Geometric jumper

Jazz up an easy-fit jumper with a cool, geometric pattern complete with roll neck.

- By Jennie Atkinson.

HOW TO USE OUR CHARTS

Start at the bottom right-hand corner. Read right side rows from right to left and wrong side rows from left to right. A row of squares represents a row of knitting.

Comfort and style go hand-in-hand with this funky geometric jumper! Carefully follow the Colour Sequence table (on the right) to create the interlocking squares and stripes pattern – the terms Col 1 and Col 2 are used throughout, representing different colours every four rows.

PATTERN NOTES

The Front and Back of the jumper are worked in simple Square Pattern, over a multiple of 8 sts plus 4. Colours 1 and 2 (Col 1 and Col 2) change every 4 rows, so make sure you refer to the table to keep your colours correct. When working the Square Pattern, use the stranded colourwork technique to carry the colour not in use across the back of the work. The Sleeves are worked plain, in Yarn A.
