Mock cable cardigan

Knit this classic cardigan in a quality yarn and it will become a wardrobe staple for years.

- By Sarah Hatton.

No matter what you wear, Sarah Hatton’s vintage-look cardigan is likely to pair with it beautifully. Worked in a classic, neutral shade with a delicate cable pattern finishing the left and right fronts, and continued down the back, it’s filled with delicate definition. We love the loose, edge-to- edge fit (no need for buttons or buttonholes!) and the neat, short length.

Note When working the border pattern your stitch count will alter. After inc rows you’ll have 4 more sts per Left or Right Front and 8 more sts on Back. After dec rows you’ll revert to your original st count. After inc rows, work each increased 3 st column in st st. After dec rows, work the rem 1 st in rev st st.
