Simply Knitting

Woodland mobile

Add a touch of magic to the nursery, a little one’s bedroom or your own living space with Amanda Berry’s cute critters.

-

If you’ve fallen for our forest friends mobile you’ll be happy to know that with a little attention to detail, most knitters should be able to give them a whirl, even if some of the techniques are new. With this exciting knit you can up your skill level with intarsia, master 3D shaping and discover loop stitch! Add to that applying safety eyes and creating the structure for your mobile and you’ll certainly feel proud of yourself once your project is finshed. Alternatively, why not knit the animals separately and make up wonderful woodland tales with your cubs?

Note the Fox and Racoon use the intarsia method. Wind off small amounts of Yarns C and G before starting each pattern.
