STRAWBERRY

Cast on 6 sts using 4mm DPNs and Yarn A, and join to work in the round. Round 1 Kfb to end of round. [12 sts] Round 2 Knit. Round 3 *Kfb, K2; rep from * to end of round. [16 sts] Round 4 Knit. Round 5 *Kfb, K3; rep from * to end of round. [20 sts] Round 6 Knit. Round 7 *Kfb, K4; rep from * to end of round. [24 sts] Round 8 Knit. Round 9 *Kfb, K5; rep from * to last st, Kfb. [28 sts]

Round 10 and 11 Knit. Round 12 Kfb, K13, kfb, K13. [30 sts] Round 13 *K4A, K1B; rep from * to end of round.

Round 14 *K1B, K2A, K1B, K1A; rep from * to end of round. Cut off Yarn A. Round 15 Knit using Yarn B. Round 16 *K3, k2tog; rep from * to end of round. [24 sts] Round 17 and 18 K2tog to end of round. [6 sts] Stuff the Strawberry with toy stuffing. Round 19 K2tog to end of round. [3 sts]

I-CORD

Place rem 3 sts on 1 DPN. *K3, then slide these 3 sts to other end of needle. Rep from * 4 more times, pulling yarn tight across back of work each time. Cast off. Fold i- cord in half and fasten off yarn.

TO MAKE UP

Sew up opening point. Using Yarn C, Swiss darn stitches for seeds at various points around the strawberry. Secure the i- cord to the split ring’s chain with a few stitches, using matching yarn.
