“ARE YOU A KNITTING GADGET HOARDER?”

Not at all! All my knitting needles and whatever gadgets I need fit in a pencil case. I can knit anything using only what’s in there, other than the yarn. Now, that’s stored in many pleasing containers that fit in well with my furniture. Frances Lillie, via our Facebook group I seem to have so many knitting gadgets…

If it is something cute and new I have to get it. Sort of matches my yarn stash. Suzanne Rife, via our Facebook group I’ve got stitch holders (like large safety pins) in toothbrush tubes and stitch markers in candy tins. I also keep my Chibi needles in chewing gum tins and then put everything in a gallon zip lock bag when I need to take them on the road with me. Jeanette Holmes, via Facebook I set up a little bag with everything needed for a project. Most bags will have a repair hook, a tape measure, snips, stitch markers and a yarn needle. My needles are stored in three cases; bamboo straights, other straights and circulars. Beryl Westby, via Twitter I am a terrible gadget woman! When it comes to my craft gadgets, I keep them in bags that I can grab and take with me when I travel.
