HOW TO USE OUR CHARTS

Start at the bottom right-hand corner. Read right side rows from right to left and wrong side rows from left to right. A row of squares represents a row of knitting.

Rep Rows 17 and 18, 6 times more, working through Rows 5-16 of Web Pattern. [63 sts]

Row 31 K to end slipping SMs.

Row 32 P to SM, remove SM, place 17 thumb sts on holder, remove SM, P to end. [46 sts] Row 33 K24, M1R, K to end. [47 sts]

Work 5 more rows in st st.

Knit 6 rows. Cast off.

THUMB

With RS facing, using 3.5mm needles, return thumb sts to needles and K to end. [17 sts] Work 5 rows in st st, beg with a purl row. Knit 4 rows. Cast off.

LEFT MITT

Work as Right Mitt to thumb shaping.

START PATTERN AND THUMB SHAPING

Row 15 K22, PM, M1R, K1, M1L, PM, K4, work Row 1 of Web Pattern to last 5 sts, K to end. [49 sts]

Row 16 P5, work Row 2 of Web Pattern to 4 sts before SM, P to end, slipping SMs.

Row 17 K to SM, sl SM, M1R, K to SM, M1L, sl SM, K4, work next row of Web Pattern to last 5 sts, K to end. [51 sts]

Row 18 P5, work next row of Web Pattern to 4 sts before SM, P to end, slipping SMs.

Rep Rows 17 and 18, 6 times more, working through Rows 5-16 of Web Pattern. [63 sts]

Row 31 K to end slipping SMs.

Row 32 P to SM, remove SM, place 17 thumb sts on holder, remove SM, P to end. [46 sts] Row 33 K22, M1L, K to end. [47 sts] Complete as for Right Mitt.

MAKING UP

Join side and thumb seams. Weave in ends.
