These 2 rows form the rib.

Work in rib until Back measures 3 (3: 4: 4: 4)cm, ending with a WS row. **

Change to 4mm needles.

Work in st st, beg with a K row, until Back measures 27 (29: 31: 34: 36)cm, ending with a WS row.

Cont in st st a further 10 (10: 10: 12: 12) rows, ending with a WS row.

SHAPE RIGHT SHOULDER

Next row (RS) Cast off 9 (9: 10: 10: 11) sts, knit until there are 10 (10: 10: 10: 11) sts on RH needle, turn, leaving rem 44 (46: 47: 49: 51) sts on a stitch holder. [10 (10: 10: 10: 11) sts]

Work 1 row.

Cast off.

SHAPE LEFT SHOULDER

With RS facing, rejoin yarn to rem 44 (46: 47: 49: 51) sts and cast off 25 (27: 27: 29: 29) sts. [19 (19: 20: 20: 22) sts]

Leave rem sts on a stitch holder for Left Back Shoulder Edging.

FRONT

Work as for Back to **.

Change to 4mm needles.

Row 1 K16 (17: 18: 19: 21), (Sl 1, K5) 5 times, sl1, knit to end.

Row 2 P17 (18: 19: 20: 22), (K5, P7) twice, K5, purl to end.

Row 3 Rep Row 1.

Row 4 P23 (24: 25: 26: 28), K5, P7, K5, purl to end.

Row 5 Rep Row 1.

Row 6 Purl.

These 6 rows form the patt.

Cont in patt until Front measures 27 (29: 31: 34: 36)cm, ending with a WS row.

SHAPE LEFT NECK

Next row (RS) Patt 24 (24: 25: 26: 28), turn and cont on these sts for left side of neck, leaving rem 39 (41: 42: 43: 45) sts on a stitch holder.

Dec 1 st at neck edge on next 5 (5: 5: 6: 6) rows.

Work 4 (4: 4: 5: 5) rows without shaping.

Leave rem sts on a stitch holder for Left Front Shoulder Edging.

SHAPE RIGHT NECK

With RS facing, slip 15 (17: 17: 17: 17) sts onto a stitch holder for front neck, rejoin yarn to rem sts and patt to end.

Dec 1 st at neck edge on next 5 (5: 5: 6: 6) rows.
