13 (14) 15 (16) 17 balls col 010 Off-white Other supplies: 6 buttons, 18 mm Needles: Size 4 mm Tension: 22 sts and 28 rows of textured st pattern = 10x10 cm.

Stitch patterns: k2 p2 ribbing: *k2, p2*, repeat *–* to end. On the WS rows, knit the knit stitches and purl the purl stitches. Stockinette stitch: RS rows: knit all stitches. WS rows: purl all stitches. Textured pattern: work following the chart and written instructions. k1 p1 ribbing: *k1, p1*, repeat *–* to end. On the WS rows, knit the knit stitches and purl the purl stitches.

Back Cast on 110 (122) 130 (142) 150 sts and begin the k2, p2 ribbing on the WS with p2 (k2) k2 (p2) p2. Work in ribbing for 3 cm. Work 4 rows of stockinette st and on the first row evenly decrease 0 (2) 0 (2) 0 sts = 110 (120) 130 (140) 150 sts. Begin the textured pattern from row 1 of the chart: work 10 sts from the right edge, repeat the 10 st pattern 9 (10) 11 (12) 13 times, work 10 sts at the left edge. Work rows 2–20 of the chart and then keep repeating rows 1–20. Note that the number of sts varies from row to row. When the piece measures 24 (25) 25 (26) 26 cm, decrease 1 st at both ends. Repeat the decreases every 8 cm 3 more times = 102 (112) 122 (132) 142 sts. Note: When you have worked rows 1–20 of the chart a total of 7 times, switch to working rows 21–36 for the rest of the piece. When the piece measures 57 (58) 59 (61) 62 cm, bind off 1x 3 (3) 4 (4) 4 sts at both ends for the armholes. Decrease 2 (2) 3 (3) 3x 1 st on every other row at both ends: on the RS row, k1, k2tog, and when 3 sts remain, skp (=slip 1 st knitwise, knit 1 and pass the slipped st over), k1. 92 (102) 108 (118) 128 sts on the needles after the decreases.

When the armhole measures 18 (19) 20 (20) 21 cm, bind off 1x 6 (7) 7 (9) 10 sts at both ends for the

shoulders. On the next RS row bind off the first 1x 6 (8) 8 (9) 11 sts for the shoulder, bind off the middle 32 (32) 34 (34) 34 sts for the

neckline and work to end. On the next row bind off the first 1x 6 (8) 8 (9)11 sts for the other shoulder and work until you reach the neckline. Now leave the sts on the right side of the neckline on hold and work the left side. On every other row, bind off 2x 2 sts at the neckline edge and 2x 7 (8) 9 (10) 11 st at the shoulder. Work the other side of the neckline to match.

Left front Cast on 59 (69) 69 (79) 79 sts and begin working ribbing on the WS: p2, k1, *p1, k1*, repeat *–* 2 more times, **p2, k2**, repeat **–** to end of row. When the ribbing measures 3 cm, continue working 9 sts at the

front edge (left end) in ribbing. Work 4 rows of stockinette st with the other sts.

Begin the textured pattern from row 1 of the chart: work 10 sts from the right edge, repeat the 10 st pattern 3 (4) 4 (5) 5 times, work 10 sts from the left edge of the chart, and work the 9 sts in ribbing. Work rows 2–20 of the chart and then keep repeating rows 1–20. Note that the number of sts varies from row to row. Note: At approx. every 15 cm leave the 9 rib sts at the front edge unworked for 2 rows (= work the RS row until 9 sts remain, turn work, work the WS row, and continue with all the sts).

When the piece measures 24 (25) 25 (26) 26 cm, decrease 1 st at the right end. Repeat the decrease every 8 cm 3 more times. Note: When you have worked rows 1–20 of the chart a total of 7 times, switch to working rows 21–36 for the rest of the piece.

When the piece measures 49 (50) 51 (53) 54 cm, begin the slanted

neckline at the left edge: work the RS row until 11 sts remain, k2tog, work 9 sts in ribbing. Repeat the

decrease every 2 (1,5) 2 (1,5) 2 cm 14 (19) 13 (20) 15 more times. When the piece measures 57 (58) 59 (61) 62 cm, bind off 1x 3 (3) 4 (4) 4 sts at the right end for the

armhole. On every other row decrease 2 (2) 3 (3) 3x 1 st at the right end: on the RS row k1, k2tog, work to end of row. When the armhole measures 18 (19) 20 (20) 21 cm, bind off at the right end on every other row 1x 6 (7) 8 (9) 10 sts, 1x 6 (8) 9 (9) 11 sts and 2x 7 (8) 9 (10) 11 sts for the shoulder. 9 sts at the front edge remaining. Increase 1 extra st at the shoulder end for the seam. Work these 10 sts in ribbing for half the width of the back neckline, stretching the edge. Bind off.

Mark the places for the buttons at the front edge. Place the topmost

button marker at the start of the neckline decreases and the rest at approx. every 10 cm.

Right front Work as the mirror image of the left front, working buttonholes onto the edge: on a RS row, work 5 sts at the

front edge, skp, yo, work to end of row. Neckline decreases: work the skp decrease.

Sleeves Cast on 50 (52) 52 (54) 54 sts and work k2, p2 ribbing for 3 cm. Work 4 rows in stockinette st.

Begin the textured pattern from row 1 of the chart: k0 (1) 1 (2) 2, work 10 sts from the right edge, repeat the 10 st pattern 3 times, work 10 sts at the left edge, k0 (1) 1 (2) 2. Work 0 (1) 1 (2) 2 sts at both ends in stockinette st, work rows 2–20 of the chart and then rows 1–20 once more. Note that the number of sts varies from row to row.

Note: When the piece measures 10 (13) 10 (12) 8 cm, increase 1 st at both ends. Repeat the in-creases every 3,5 (3) 3 (2,5) 2,5 cm 10 (11) 13 (14) 16 more times = 72 (76) 80 (84) 88 sts. Also work the increased sts following the textured pattern. Note: When you have worked rows 1–20 of the chart a total of 2 times, switch to working rows 21–36 for the rest of the piece.

When the piece measures 45 (46)

47 (47) 48 cm, bind off 1x 3 (3) 4 (4) 4 sts at both ends. Decrease 3 (3) 4 (4) 4x 1 st on every other row at both ends. Then bind off the remaining sts.

Knit the other sleeve to match. Finishing Lay the pieces to measurements, mist on the wrong side and allow to dry. Sew the shoulder seams. Sew together the ends of the neckline edges and attach the edge to the back neckline.

Attach the sleeves at the armholes following the red markers on the pattern. Sew the sleeve seams and side seams.

Attach the buttons.
