FRONT

Work the same as Back to **. [106 ( 116: 126: 138: 148: 160) sts] Next row (RS) With Yarn A, K16 ( 21: 26: 32: 37: 43), work Row 1 of Chart B, with Yarn A K16 ( 21: 26: 32: 37: 43).

Next row With Yarn A, P16 ( 21: 26: 32: 37: 43), work Row 2 of Chart B, with Yarn A P16 ( 21: 26: 32: 37: 43).

Cont from Row 3 of Chart B, working extra sts each side in Yarn A, until Front measures 41 ( 41: 40: 40: 38: 38) cm from cast-on edge, ending after a WS row.

SHAPE ARMHOLES

Cont working Chart 2, keeping pattern correct, and AT THE SAME TIME, shape armholes as follows:

Dec 1 st at each end of the next 5 ( 5: 6: 6: 7: 7) rows.

[96 ( 106: 114: 126: 134: 146) sts]

When Chart 2 is complete, cont straight in A until armholes measure 11 ( 12: 14: 15: 17: 18) cm from beg of shaping, ending after a WS row.

SHAPE LEFT FRONT NECK

Next row (RS) K42 ( 46: 49: 54: 57: 63), turn, leave rem sts on a holder.

Next row Purl.

Dec 1 st at neck edge on next 4 ( 6: 6: 6: 6: 6) rows.

Dec 1 st at neck edge of next row and 4 ( 3: 4: 4: 4: 4) foll alt rows. [33 ( 36: 38: 43: 46: 52) sts]

Cont without shaping until armhole measures the same as Back to beg of shoulder shaping, ending at shoulder edge.

SHAPE LEFT SHOULDER

Cast off 16 ( 18: 18: 21: 23: 26) sts at beg of next row. [ 17 ( 18: 20: 22: 23: 26) sts]

Next row Purl

Cast off rem 17 ( 18: 20: 22: 23: 26) sts.

SHAPE RIGHT FRONT NECK

With the RS facing slip 12 ( 14: 16: 18: 20: 20) sts onto a holder, rejoin yarn to rem 42 ( 46: 49: 54: 57: 63) sts and knit to end.

Dec 1 st at neck edge on next 4 ( 6: 6: 6: 6: 6) rows.

SLEEVES

Cast on 48 ( 48: 54: 56: 58: 60) sts using 3.5mm needles and Yarn A.

Rib row (RS) *K1, P1; rep from * to end.

Rep the last row another 13 times, ending after a WS row.

Change to 4mm needles.

Beg with a RS (knit) row, work 4 rows in st st.

Next row (RS) K0 ( 0: 3: 4: 5: 6), work Row 1 of Chart C, K0 ( 0: 3: 4: 5: 6).

Next row P0 ( 0: 3: 4: 5: 6), work Row 2 of Chart C, P0 ( 0: 3: 4: 5: 6). Cont from Row 3 of Chart C, keeping patt correct, and AT THE SAME TIME shape sides as follows. Cont in Yarn A only when Chart C is complete.

SHAPE SLEEVE TOP

Dec 1 st at each end of the next 5 ( 5: 6: 6: 7: 7) rows.

[64 ( 70: 76: 84: 88: 92) sts]

Work 1 ( 1: 0: 0: 1: 1) row straight.

Cast off 5( 4: 3: 4: 3: 4) sts at the beg of the next 8 ( 12: 2: 12: 2: 16) rows. [24 ( 22: 70: 36: 82: 28) sts]

Cast off 6( 5: 4: 5: 4: 5) sts at the beg of the next 2 ( 2: 14: 4: 16: 2) rows. [12 ( 12: 14: 16: 18: 18) sts]

Cast off rem 12 ( 12: 14: 16: 18: 18) sts.

NECKBAND

Join right shoulder seam.

With RS facing, 3.5mm needles and Yarn A, pick up and knit 22 ( 22: 24: 24: 24: 24) sts down left front neck, knit across 12 ( 14: 16: 18: 20: 20) held front neck, pick up and knit 22 ( 22: 24: 24: 24: 24) up right front neck, pick up and knit 30 ( 34: 38: 40: 42: 42) sts across back neck. [86 ( 92: 102: 106: 110: 110) sts]

Rib row ( WS) (K1, P1) to end.

Rep the last row another 6 ( 6: 8: 8: 8: 8) times.

Cast off loosely in rib.

MAKING UP

Join left shoulder seam and neckband. Join side seams and Sleeve seams. Set in Sleeves. Weave in all ends. Block gently to measuremen­ts, following any yarn care instructio­ns on the ball band. Using the photo as a guide, sew on the sequin trim and buttons. Only sew the embellishm­ents on with a few stitches to secure as these will need to be removed before washing.
