Tension:

16,5 sts and 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm in garter ridges.

Garter ridges:

Work 2 rows in st st (k on RS, p on WS) and 4 rows in garter st (k every row) alternately throughout.

Collar patt: Purl 2 rnds, knit 2 rnds alternately throughout.

Back

Back is 4 cm longer than front. Cast on 97 (103) 109 (117) sts.

Next row (WS): Selvage st, * p1, k1; rep from * to last 2 sts, p1, selvage st.

Next row (RS): Work in rib patt as established over first 4 sts, work garter ridges to last 4 sts, work in rib patt as established over last 4 sts.

Cont in patt as established until piece meas 9 cm from cast-on, ending with a WS row. Work garter ridges across all sts until piece meas 30 cm from cast-on, ending with a WS row.

Shape armholes: Bind off 2 sts at beg of next 8 (8) 8 (10) rows = 81 (87) 93 (97) sts. Work even until piece meas 48 (50) 52 (54) cm from cast-on.

Bind off all sts.

Front

Cast on 97 (103) 109 (117) sts.

Next row (WS): Selvage st, * p1, k1; rep from * to last 2 sts, p1, selvage st.

Next row (RS): Work in rib patt as established over first 4 sts, work garter ridges to last 4 sts, work in rib patt as established over last 4 sts. Cont in patt as established until piece meas 5 cm from cast-on, ending with a WS row. Work garter ridges across all sts until piece meas 26 cm from cast-on, ending with a WS row.

Shape armholes: Bind off 2 sts at beg of next 8 (8) 8 (10) rows = 81 (87) 93 (97) sts.

Work even until piece meas 38 (40) 42 (44) cm from cast-on, ending with a WS row.

Shape neck: Next row (RS): Bind off center 11 sts. Working each side separately, bind off 3 sts at each neck edge once, 2 sts twice, 1 st 3 times = 25 (28) 31 (33) sts rem for each side.

Work even until piece meas 44 (46) 48 (50) cm from cast-on. Bind off rem 25 (28) 31 (33) sts for each shoulder.

Sleeves

Cast on 49 (49) 53 (53) sts.

Next row (WS): Selvage st, * p1, k1; rep from * to last 2 sts, p1, selvage st. Work garter ridges and shape sleeve as foll: Inc 1 st at each end of 13 (9) 7 (5)th row, then every 14th row 7 times (then every 10th row 10 times) then every 8th row 11 times (then every 6th row 15 times) = 65 (71) 77 (85) sts. Work even until piece meas 40 (38) 36 (34) cm from cast-on, ending with a WS row. Shape sleeve cap: Bind off 3 sts at beg of next 8 rows, 6 sts at beg of next 4 rows. Bind off rem 17 (23) 29 (37) sts.

Finishing

Pin pieces to measurements and block. Sew shoulder seams. Collar: With circular needle, pick up and k 80 sts evenly around neck edge: 31 sts along back neck edge and 49 sts along front neck edge. Join for working in rnds. Work collar patt for 88 rnds. Loosely bind off all sts.

Sew in sleeves. Sew side and sleeve seams, leaving bottom 9 cm of back and bottom 5 cm of front side seams open for slits.
