Bust circumference: 98 (110) 122 (132) cm

Length: 57 (59) 61 (63) cm Inner sleeve length: 54 (55) 55 (55) cm

Materials:

BC Garn, Semilla. Content: 100% organic wool. 50 g = 250 m.

9 (10) 10 (10) balls col 106 Aqua Crochet hook:

Size 4 mm

Tension:

17 tr and 9,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Popcorn stitch (= p):

(Yarn over hook, insert hook into stitch and pull yarn through) 4 times. Pull yarn through all loops and end with 1 ch.

Rib pattern:

Work 16 ch, work htr in all RS and WS rows, insert only in back loop of the stitches.

Back

Work the border of the sweater crosswise in rib pattern.

Using hook 4 mm work 16 ch, 1 htr in each st only in the back loop. Work in total 57 (63) 69 (74) rows. Turn and continue working on the long side. Work in total 86 (95) 104 (113) tr. Continue working in this way 31 (32) 33 (34) rows until armholes. Armholes

Leave first 4 (5) 7 (9) tr on both sides unworked.

Decreases: At the beg and at the end of each row tr3tog 2 (3) 3 (3) times, then 2 (2) 3 (3) times tr2tog. In total a decrease of 20 (26) 32 (36) tr.

Work tr over the remaining 66 (69) 72 (77) st, until the back has a total length of 57 (58) 59 (60) cm. Skip the first 4 tr for shaping shoulder, then work 1 dc, 2 htr and continue with tr. End the row mirror wise.

Front

The zigzag pattern must be divisible by 9 + 3 + 3 tr.

The front is 1 row shorter than the back.

Work the border of the front in the same way as the back crosswise in rib pattern.

Using hook 4 mm work 16 ch, 1 htr in each st only in the back loop of stitch.

Work in total 58 (64) 70 (76) rows. Turn and continue working on the long side. Here starts the zigzag pattern, which is made up of 9 (10) 11 (12) pattern repeats (see chart). That means for each repeat crochet 9 tr + 6 (3 tr each side) = 87 (96) 105 (114) sts. 1st tr is replaced by 3 ch. Row 1: 3 ch (count as 1 tr), 2 tr, *skip 1 st, (1 p, 1 ch, 1 p) in same st, skip 1 st, 6 tr*, rep 8 (9) 10 (11) times, 3 tr.

Row 2: 3 ch (count as 1 tr), 2 tr, *5 tr, skip 1 st, (1 p, 1 ch, 1 p) in same st, skip 1 st, 1 tr*, rep 8 (9) 10 (11) times, 3 tr.

Row 3: 3 ch (count as 1 tr), 2 tr, *2 tr, skip 1 st, (1 p, 1 ch, 1 p) in same st, skip 1 st, 4 tr*, rep 8 (9) 10 (11) times, 3 tr.

Row 4: 3 ch (count as 1 tr), 2 tr, *3 tr, skip 1 st, (1 p, 1 ch, 1 p) in same st, skip 1 st, 3 tr*, rep 8 (9) 10 (11) times, 3 tr.

Row 5: 3 ch (count as 1 tr), 2 tr, * 4 tr, skip 1 st, (1 p, 1 ch, 1 p) in same st, skip 1 st, 2 tr*, rep 8 (9) 10 (11) times, 3 tr.

Row 6: 3 ch (count as 1 tr), 2 tr, *1 tr, skip 1 st, (1 p, 1 ch, 1 p) in same st, skip 1 st, 5 tr*, rep 8 (9) 10 (11) times, 3 tr.

Row 7: 3 ch (count as 1 tr), 2 tr, *6 tr, skip 1 st, (1 p, 1 ch, 1 p) in same st, skip 1 st*, rep 8 (9) 10 (11) times, 3 tr.

Row 8: 3 ch (count as 1 tr), 1 tr, *skip 1 st, (1 p, 1 ch, 1 p) in same st, skip 1 st, 6 tr*, rep 8 (9) 10 (11) times, 4 tr.

Row 9: 3 ch (count as 1 tr), 2 tr, *6 tr, skip 1 st, (1 p, 1 ch, 1 p) in same st, skip 1 st*, rep 8 (9) 10 (11) times, 3 tr.

Row 10: 3 ch (count as 1 tr), 2 tr, *1 tr, skip 1 st, (1 p, 1 ch, 1 p) in same st, skip 1 st, 5 tr*, rep 8 (9) 10 (11) times, 3 tr.

Row 11: 3 ch (count as 1 tr), 2 tr, *4 tr, skip 1 st, (1 p, 1 ch, 1 p) in same st, skip 1 st, 2 tr*, rep 8 (9) 10 (11) times, 3 tr.

Row 12: 3 ch (count as 1 tr), 2 tr, *3 tr, skip 1 st, (1 p, 1 ch, 1 p) in same st, skip 1 st, 3 tr*, rep 8 (9) 10 (11) times, 3 tr.

Row 13: 3 ch (count as 1 tr), 2 tr, *2 tr, skip 1 st, (1 p, 1 ch, 1 p) in same st, skip 1 st, 4 tr*, rep 8 (9) 10 (11) times, 3 tr.

Row 14: 3 ch (count as 1 tr), 2 tr, *5 tr, skip 1 st, (1 p, 1 ch, 1 p) in same st, skip 1 st, 1 tr*, rep 8 (9) 10 (11) times, 3 tr.

Row 15: 3 ch (count as 1 tr), 2 tr, *skip 1 st, (1 p, 1 ch, 1 p) in same st, skip 1 st, 6 tr*, rep 8 (9) 10 (11) times, 3 tr.

Row 16: As row 2.

Rep row 3-16 in the pattern.

Work 30 rows in this way. Armholes and neckline work as for back.

Sleeve (2 x)

We are working the cuff of the sleeve in the same way as the border of back crosswise in rib pattern.

Using hook 4,5 work 16 ch, 1 htr in each stitch only in the back loop of stitch.

Work in total 26 (26) 27 (28) rows. Turn and continue working on the long side.

1. row: 3 ch, 13 (13) 14 (16) tr, skip 1 st, 1 p, 1 ch, 1 p in same st, skip 1 st, 6 tr, skip 1 st, 1 p, 1 ch, 1 p in same st, skip 1 st, 14 (14) 15 (17) tr = 40 (40) 42 (46) sts.

For all following rows work the zigzag pattern as for the front. Please note that the pattern, as a result from the division, moves slightly inwards.

Increases

Increase at the beg and at the end of a row:

Size 34-36: in every 4th row 5 times 1 tr, then in every 3rd row 3-times 1 tr = 8 tr at each side of the sleeve. All other sizes: In every 3rd row 10 times 1 tr = 10 tr at each side of the sleeve.

Armhole

After 42 (43) 43 (43) cm or 31 (32) 32 (32) rows leave 4 tr unworked on both sides.

Then work in every row tr3tog 3 times, tr2tog 6 times and tr3tog 1 (2) 2 (2) times on both sides. The sleeve is finished after 54 (55) 55 (55) cm.

Make the second sleeve in the same way.

Finishing

Damp and block lightly to shape the pieces. Sew side saems from armhole to border. Border remains open for side slits. Sew sleeves in position. Sew sleeve seams.

Turtleneck

Work 32 ch and 62 (62) 63 (64) rows htr in rib pattern. Sew together and sew it on the sweater.
