BABY DRESS FRONT
Cast on 80 (82: 84: 88: 90) sts using 3.25mm needles.
Work in garter st (K every row) until piece meas 2cm, ending after a WS row.
Change to 4mm needles.

Row 1 (RS) K27 (28: 29: 31: 32), sl1 wyib, sl SM, K5, sl1 wyif, sl SM, work Row 1 of Chart, sl SM, sl1 wyif, K5, sl SM, sl1 wyib, K27 (28: 29: 31: 32).
Row 2 (WS) Purl to centre Chart section, work Row 2 from Chart, purl to end.
Rep last 2 rows, working Chart rows 3 to 20, and then rep Chart rows 1 to 20 until piece meas 17.5 (19.5: 23.5: 30: 32.5)cm from cast-on edge, ending after a WS row.
FOLD PLEAT
Folding row (RS) Knit to 6 sts before first marker, slip next 6 sts onto one DPN (A), remove marker, then slip next 6 sts onto another DPN (B), remove marker. Turn B so that the last st on this needle is parallel with the first stitch on A, making sure A is in front, B is in the centre and your LH needle is at the back, parallel to A and B. Using your RH needle, knit the first sts on each DPN and the LH needle together. Knit 1 st from each needle together as set another 5 times.
Slip next 6 sts onto one DPN (C), remove marker, slip next 6 sts onto another DPN (D), remove marker. Turn D so that the last st on this needle is parallel with the first st on C, making sure C is at the back, D is in the centre and your LH needle is in front. Using your RH needle, knit the first sts on the LH needle and each DPN together. K 1 st from each needle together as set another 5 times, knit to end. [56 (58: 60: 64: 66) sts]

Cast off 4 (5: 5: 5: 5) sts at beg of next 2 rows.
