Materials: ggh, Kid.

Content: 65 % mohair, 30 % polyamide, 5 % wool.

25 g = 250 m.

6 (7) balls – col 149 autumn orange 3 (4) balls – col 145 crimson red

Knitting needles:

Size 5 and 6 mm

Tension:

With size 6 mm needle and 3 threads in honeycomb brioche pattern: 11 stitches and 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Garter Stitch: Knit all stitches on RS (right side) and WS (wrong side) rows.

Honeycomb brioche pattern: Knit very loosely!

Stitch no. divisible by 2 + 1 stitch.

Basic row (= WS row) and all other WS rows: Knit stitches between the selvedge stitches.

1st row (= RS row): selvedge stitch, *knit 1 into stitch a row below the current stitch, knit 1*, keep repeating from * to* and end the row with knit 1 into stitch a row below the current stitch, selvedge stitch.

3rd row (= RS row): selvedge stitch, *knit 1, knit 1 into stitch a row below the current stitch*, keep repeating from* to* and end the row with knit 1, selvedge stitch. Keep repeating rows 1-4. throughout (2 threads in autumn orange and 1 thread in crimson red).

BACK

Cast on 73 (79) stitches with size 5 mm needles and 3 threads and knit garter stitch for 6 rows = 2 cm. Then change to size 6 mm needles and continue in honeycomb brioche pattern. After 30 (31) cm overall length mark a stitch each side for the sleeves. After 48 (52) cm overall length change back to size 5 mm needles and work 6 rows garter stitch. Then bind off all stitches loosely.

FRONT

Worked same as the back.

SLEEVES

Cast on 31 stitches and start the sleeves same as the back. After the cuffs increase 1 stitch both sides 11x on every 4th WS row (14x alternatin­g between every 4th and 2nd WS-row) after the selvedge stitch = 53 (59) stitches. After 45 cm overall length bind off all stitches loosely.

FINISHING

Close shoulder seams leaving centre 40 cm of the neckline open. Sew the sleeves in between the marked stitches on the side edges. Close sleeve and side seams in one step.
