Music streaming brand Deezer has announced a new retail partnership with Yamaha Australia, encompassing musical instruments, professional audio equipment and home audio.

Deezer’s CEO of Asia Pacific, Henrik Karlberg, says “we are thrilled to be partnering with Yamaha, one of the most prominent brands in the audio space. We’re on the same mission – to provide the best audio experience possible to our customers.”

He says “for us to do this together in Australia and New Zealand is the start of a new and exciting journey that will expand the music streaming eco-system in the region. The ultimate benefactors are fans and creators of great music. Together with Yamaha, we will facilitate that.”

As part of the partnership, Deezer will be featured as the exclusive music streaming provider on MusicCast displays in over 300 retail outlets while Yamaha customers gain unlimited access to over 43 million tracks.

“As a company that is passionate about all things musical, we see this partnership as the perfect opportunity for homes to access a world of music with our products”, explains Russell Wykes, Marketing and Sales Support Manager for Yamaha Music Australia.

“We’re always looking to innovate and this partnership is indicative of how technology is changing how we are consuming entertainment in the home.”
