Lutron Gets IoT Smart With New Zigbee Capability

Lutron Electronic­s, who are witnessing new demand for their technology as more households invest in connected home technology, has jumped onto the Zigbee bandwagon.

The US Company joined The Zigbee Alliance Board of Directors this September, adding its expertise in lighting controls and automated shading solutions to work alongside other IoT brands that can integrate into a Lutron system.

Lutron is an internatio­nal smart lighting and shading control provider for over 15,000 commercial and residentia­l products, selling in more than 100 countries, including Australia via Queensland-based distributo­r Avation.
