Sonus faber revives Gravis subwoofers

-

Not so long back Sonus faber was delivering new subwoofers under the Mcintosh Group’s Sumiko sub-brand, but its latest bass boxes are all its own, with the company unveiling the new Gravis U1 and U2 subwoofers at Munich High End. Sonus faber is again reinventing its roots (as with the Extrema speakers and the Snail system) with the Gravis name harking back to the first ever Sonus faber subwoofer in 1986, the Gravis FB100. Both models will be available in four finishes: the company’s latest Wengè, also Red, classic Walnut and Piano Black. As for the tech, how does a trilaminated sandwich concave ParaNanoCarbon diaphragm suit you? We await local pricing and availability. More information: www.synergyaudio.com
