Street Machine

IT’S THE ULTIMATE ‘PEOPLE’S CHOICE’ AWARD – YOUR FAVOURITES, YOUR CALL AND THE WINNER TAKES ALL!

-

THERE’S been plenty of election talk this year, but there’s only one ballot that matters: the Valvoline Street Machine Of The Year. You know the premise: Vote for your favourite street machine of the past 12 months, we’ll tally the votes, and the owner of the car with the most votes takes home the trophy and $20,000. That’s SMOTY in a nutshell.

As usual, there’s plenty to float your boat among the 16 finalists – force-fed, strip-fighting small-blocks; traditional chrome-mountain street machines; elite pro touring supercars; and just about everything in between. From panos to Pontiacs, Monaros to Camaros, prekinger Holdens to a trio of Falcons – this year’s SMOTY is hotter than ever.

The 2016 Street Machine Of The Year winner will not only become the 29th to have their name engraved on the hallowed SMOTY trophy, but will also bag a $20,000 cheque thanks to our great friends at Valvoline.

YOU CAN WIN TOO

NOT only does your vote count towards your favourite car getting the gong, but it also puts you in the draw to win the ultimate Summernats experience. You and a mate could be off to Canberra on us, with flights from any Australian capital, five nights in a top hotel, a stack of cool Street

Machine gear, two Platinum Passes to Summernats 30, a pair of VIP passes to the exclusive Street Machine party, and $1000 for good measure!

HOW TO VOTE

FOR AUSTRALIAN residents, there are two ways to vote: SMS the CODE WORD that appears on the car of your choice, plus your full name, address (including postcode) and daytime phone number to 1999 0001 (max cost 55c including GST); or submit the entry form at www.smoty.com.au, where you can also read the original feature stories on all 16 finalists. NEW ZEALAND residents can only vote via the website.

You can only vote once per voting method – repeat votes will not count. Voting is now open, and closes 1 October 2016 at 23:59 (AEST). So get voting!
