WE WILL have more on the Six Banger Nats next issue, but we couldn’t wait to give a shoutout to Charlie Muscat, who stunned onlookers with the speed of his NA202 LC Torana running 6.40s over the eighth-mile – and was overall runner-up for the event. The Torana is packing a triple Su-fed Holden six, backed by a Liberty five-speed race ’box. Charlie then took the car to Sydney for a Full Throttle Friday meeting and ran a bunch of low 10-second passes, before pulling out a 9.993@125mph! That probably makes it the quickest aspirated Holden six-powered sedan in the country – if you know a quicker one, let us know!
