WELL I’ve just seen your latest project car (SM, Jul ’17) – are you serious? A Mustang that will be painted grey with black wheels; could you have possibly used any less imagination?

As the owner of a ’69 fastback it really bugs me when people with no idea turn these beautiful classic cars into worthless, ugly piles of junk. The only thing you could have done to make it worse would be to put a poxy LS motor in it.

Hopefully the new owner will pull those ugly stripes off it, paint it an actual colour and toss those awful wheels in the nearest wheelie bin. John Bray, email
