GET TRUCKED?

AFTER much anticipation, the Ram 1500 TRX pick-up has finally made its way onto our shores, but with a hefty starting price of AU$199,950. For your money you do get the supercharged 6.2litre Hemi V8 pinched from the Hellcat, making a whopping 780hp, along with plenty of offroad-ready bits. We shared the news of the TRX Ram – and its eyewatering pricetag – on our Facebook page, and here’s what you had to say.

Nathan Moore – Pity they are $100,000 more over here than they are actually worth.

Let me move my Mack to get to the Kenworth. Daniel Wells – Better off getting a banger with an LS1.

Michael Pearce – An LSX in an allwheel-drive ute would be good. So would a supercharged Coyote in a ute as well. Sadly Australia is getting ripped off as usual.

Brendon Beets – It’ll still snap like a chicken when you put a loaded trailer behind it.

Michael Lenyo – That thing will be falling apart in two or three years. Royce O’brien – Raptor eater! Aaron Eliott – The 80-Series will still shit on it.
