Taking makeup from day to night

This is a busy time of year for parties, weddings and events, so you may not have time to wash your face and start again.

Follow these simple steps to amp up your day makeup for a night out or special occasion.

TIP ONE:

Adding a black or brown kohl pencil to upper and lower lashes will instantly create more drama.

Use a cotton tip to smudge the edges. Apply the liner to the inner rim of the eye to make it even more smokey.

TIP TWO:

Press a shimmery or metallic eyeshadow to the centre of the lid with your finger.

Use any colour you like — browns, golds or khaki’s are great for a party look.

TIP THREE:

A bold lip colour always makes a statement. Orange reds, bright pinks and corals are a perfect choice for spring and summer.

Use a long-wear formula to avoid it wearing off during eating and drinking.

Touch up the T-zone with powder and spritz a setting spray all over the skin to freshen your foundation and ensure it lasts all night.
