CHOREOGRAPHER AND CO-ORDINATOR OF STEPPING OUT WINTER GLAMOUR FASHION EVENT, KAYE FOLEY

-

What exciting things do you have planned for the Winter Glamour evening?

We have a lot of surprises – we don’t want to give too much away! It’s probably the first event of it’s kind in Toowoomba.

It’s something with a difference and we want to make it that way – we want to make it a really exciting evening. It’s going to be so glamorous, so we’re really looking forward to it.

How long have you been involved in the modelling industry?

I’ve been teaching for 27 years, and I was choreographing parades before that.

Why is the Toowoomba fashion and creative scene so exciting at the moment?

I think it’s exciting because we have all these brand new labels coming in at the moment that we haven’t experienced before, many of which are involved in the parade. Toowoomba is growing and it’s beautiful. The whole city has a buzz, with so many great cafes and the like. It’s exciting and it’s huge for Toowoomba.

Why have you chosen to support the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation?

Because it supports children and it’s a local organisation. I’m all for local – my models are local, trained by the Kaye Foley Model Academy.

I don’t get anyone from out of town, so I’m really excited to support the Toowoomba community. It will go back to the local Toowoomba Hospital, so it’s great to know the money will be going to the kids.

What’s your winter fashion staple?

I love boots! And big coats are a must. Throw on a cute coat and a nice scarf and you can make yourself look a million dollars.

There’s a lot of great, creative things out there to put a gorgeous outfit together.
