When I was a child, Christmas day was spent in either underwear, a swimsuit or, if I was really dressing up, I’d be in pyjamas.

It was only when I grew up that I realised a lot of people were putting effort into their ideal ‘Christmas day outfit’ or making a point of finding the perfect shoe that can take you seamlessly to a family function and to a friend’s barbecue.

If the latter sounds like your vibe, then can I suggest this season — first things first — go get yourself a fabulous earring!

Yeah, yeah, I know, earrings are nothing new but there’s a certain group of ear candy that are really having a moment right now.
