Milne Bay Aquatic Centre Boga Mat classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays Join us on Tuesdays at 8.45am, 9.30am, 5.15pm & 6pm and Thursdays at 8.15am, 9.15am, 5.15pm & 6pm for your workout on the water. Just 30 minutes will increase your heart rate and your muscles will be burning. Cost: $8 per class for members and non-members. These classes are guided by the need of the individual.

Swim Fit: For anyone wanting to improve swimming technique or general fitness. Training sessions allow you to work at your own pace and get an all over body workout.

Aqua aerobics: Deep water, Aqua dance, Aqua fit, H2O HIIT, water synergy and splash combat are our aqua aerobic classes that are held several times a day from Monday to Saturday. Classes vary from high intensity to very low impact. These classes are designed for an all-round workout to improve fitness, strength and muscle tone.

adults: Council supports people who are learning English as a second language and adults looking to improve their reading, writing and numeracy skills through the following services:

The literacy collection: This collection includes aids to reading, writing, speaking and listening to English as well as basic numeracy. The literacy collection is in the Adult Non-fiction section at ANF 428 under the “Mastering English” sign. English conversati­on groups: Volunteer tutors run free small group sessions in the Toowoomba City Library’s meeting room every week for adults with English as a second language. Practise your everyday English skills and learn about Australia in a relaxed and supportive environmen­t. The groups are held from 1pm-2.30pm on Wednesday and on Thursday and Saturday from 10am-11.30am.
