Find out what’s on-trend for fashion this winter ....................
With faux fur, fluff and feathers in every hue, the winter racing season can be just as flamboyant as the summer season. Amanda Herron from Art of Style clues us in on how to turn heads next time you’re trackside.
Aquestion I get asked all the time is what constitutes appropriate winter race wear – and I can tell you the devil is in the detail! Always start with your outfit – be that a dress or two-piece combo – and plan your look from there.
Choose seasonally appropriate elements such as heavier fabrics, longer sleeves and hemlines. Then think about jackets and coats, shoes and other accessories.
Take into account the autumn/winter colour palettes which include classic black, white, grey and red. Add in touches of mustard, burnt orange, teal, plum, burgundy and the ever popular navy.
