While pot luck originated in The Great Depression years of the 1930s, it has since become a popular way for friends to catch up. Pot luck simply involves everyone bringing along a dish. This can be themed or un-themed, but there is one rule to pot luck. One does not tell one what they are bringing to pot luck! Yes, this does sometimes mean you will have four meat dishes and a dessert, or a baked custard paired with a curry for mains, however that is all part of the fun! And the best thing is you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your own home. So this winter, create a group, turn off the television and get a little creative with your friends.
