Best Wilson Buckley’s Katherine Marshall takes out award nomination

-

Katherine Marshall, senior solicitor, has been named as a finalist in the Family Law category of the Lawyers Weekly 2017 30 Under 30 Awards. The awards are now in their fifth year and recognise the talents of exceptional young lawyers across Australia. With an overwhelming number of nominees, Katherine has been named as one of ten finalists in this category. While the Best Wilson Buckley team knows how wonderful Katherine is, this nomination is a testament to her skills and dedication to clients and the practice of family law more broadly. After returning to family law in early 2016 following a number of years in other practice areas, Katherine has made her place as a highly regarded young practitioner in the Toowoomba community. Katherine was admitted to practise law in 2011 and holds a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Criminology as well as her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Parenting matters are a particular interest for Katherine, especially seeking a positive resolution for children in a co-parenting situation. A local Toowoomba girl, Katherine attended St Saviour’s and Downlands, returning to town after completing her university studies in Brisbane. The Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 will be announced at an awards evening in Sydney on Friday, June 23 and our whole team will be cheering for Katherine from Toowoomba, Brisbane and Ipswich.
