THIS AUTUMN...

Turn your attention to animal prints, statement sleeves and anything red

-

The change of season brings an exciting turn in fashion. Fortunately, many of the hottest autumn looks this year are enjoying their third or fourth season, which means you may have some on-trend pieces hiding in your wardrobe already.

Animal attraction: An absolute style staple, animal prints never seem to go out of fashion and are trending again this autumn. Fitted jackets and oversized coats to scarves, belts, handbags and big sunglasses, this print works well both as an all-over leopard and jaguar seem to be the most popular prints making a stylish statement by day and offering an effortless transition to late night glamour.

Statement sleeves: The 2017 trend is one to be repeated this autumn as sleeves make an even bigger statement. Expect more bells, flounces, ruffles, ruches and flares in everything from cotton pinstripe shirts to elegant form-fitting dresses. Pair with simple designs such as a straight leg trousers or a pair of jeans for a more casual yet polished look.

Red hot everything: Ultra-feminine and guaranteed to turn heads, the colour red is from deep crimson to bright cherry there is a flattering shade for everyone. Seen on the autumn catwalks in everything from sheer, floaty gowns to structured wool coats.

All things glittery: Shine on in the cooler months in shimmery golds, bronze and the darling of this season; silver. Go all over gilded for night time glam or tone it down for the office with a simple grey or black knit. If committing to high-shine is not your style, opt for a statement accessory such as a silver ankle boot or lame` clutch.

Polka dots: The black and white staple is making a huge comeback and can be seen on everything from whimsical satin ball gowns to form-fitting work attire. Mix it up with contrasting prints in bold colours or layer with an oversized knit.
