Autumn beauty trends

-

Autumn has arrived, bringing with it cooler evenings and heralding the start of the beautiful changes in colour across our landscape. Our parks and gardens aren’t the only things changing colour, as each new season also brings a change in fashion and makeup trends. The styles this autumn are varied ensuring that there is a look to suit everybody. Karly, our beauty advisor at Priceline Pharmacy Westridge has given us her top trends for autumn 2018.

#Fresh faced

This ‘no makeup’ look is dewy, fresh and clean and can be achieved by using a base of BB cream or cushion foundation, with a liquid illuminator on the high points of the face to achieve a dewy glow.

#Cherry red lips & nails

Match your lips to your fingers with your favourite cherry shade. Priceline Pharmacies Toowoomba stock a vast range of colours to suit all skin tones.

#Bold eyeliner

Use a bright coloured eyeliner to create a thin wing or choose a dark shimmery colour to create a thick statement wing.

#Glossy lips

Create a glossy lip with clear or coloured gloss of your choice. Use your finger to pat the product onto your lips for a subtle gloss.

#Turquoise & emerald eyeshadow

Don’t be afraid to try this trend, detailing your eyes with all the colours of the shimmering sea. It is a great way to add a pop of colour to your look.

#Smokey eyes

A smokey eye is always on trend. This season, try your hand at palettes of grey. Use darker shades for a heavy look or lighter tones for a more subtle smokey eye.

#Golden highlighter

Strong golden highlighting is in right now. Try a golden highlight just on the cheekbones or amp up your look by using it in the inner corner of your eye, on your brow bone and over the temple area.
