Bikies hit the road

QUEENSLAND bikies are looking to establish chapters interstate to escape the Sunshine State’s crackdown on criminal motorcycle gangs.

Queensland’s bikie taskforce is investigating reports some Bandidos are setting up a chapter in the West Australian capital.

‘‘ Look there is intelligence in relation to that activity and that is where it is at the moment, it is intelligence,’’ Taskforce Maxima’s Commander Superintendent Mick Niland told ABC’s 7.30 Report.

Supt Niland said he was working closely with NSW and federal authorities.
