There’s much talk about fasting at the moment and, right on cue, Holmes writes this offering. It follows her Heal Your Gut book, this time explaining how different food fasts can kickstart your system. She also offers easy wholefood ways to negotiate the empty hours, which are often simply minimal-eating hours. Consider two-day fasts, the “eight-hour eating window” and, yes, there is an option to do this just by skipping or delaying breakfast.
