In the lead-up to naturalist Charles Darwin’s 208th birthday on February 12, the university that carries his name held a lighthearted debate about whether it is time to rethink his famous theory of evolution.
Around 150 people attended the event at the university’s Casuarina campus, with staff dressed in various animal outfits to represent the Galapagos Islands, where the genius carried out much of the research that resulted in his world-changing theory.
A special cake for the great thinker was enjoyed by all.
