Darwin Family Day Care is a professional home-based Early Childhood Education and Care Service.
Territory Childcare Group administration officer Karyn Williams said they offered small group home-based care in an environment in which children can feel safe, develop secure attachments and the confidence to explore and investigate the world around them.
“Educators and families build positive relationships that are culturally inclusive and in context with the child’s community,” she said.
Murraya Children’s Centre is a progressive centre-based education and care service where young children can explore the world around them in an environment that is designed for active inquiry based learning.
“We explore relationships with living and non-living things and assist children to develop an awareness of the impact we have on the environment,” Ms Williams said.
Bees Creek Outside School Hours Care and Vacation Care provides a fun and engaging program for school-aged children.
“As children move through different early childhood settings into school aged care, great importance is placed on building relationships and exploring and extending interests and hobbies in a recreational and leisure context,” she said.
“Territory Child Care Group has a highly-qualified team of professionals that understands the needs of children.
“We are innovative in our approach to providing stimulating learning experiences and environments for children, and value relationships between children and their families. This is reflected in all our services having been rated as exceeding national quality standards by QECNT.”
In 2016, Murraya Children’s Centre won Outstanding Achievement in Community Engagement and Outstanding Education and Care Service in Long Day Care and Kindy at the Northern Territory Education and Care Awards.
Darwin Family Day Care’s Educational Leader Christine Tayler also won an award for Outstanding Leadership.
