MIRACLE MOMENT

If you’re struggling with your skin, try this fantastic product and be amazed

- EMMA CRILLY

Diminish pigmentation, get plumper skin, boost collagen, reduce scarring ... if you think all this sounds too good to be true, you need to try one of the best anti-ageing products on the market — Ultraceuticals Ultra A Skin Perfecting Serum (rrp $132).

I had a three-month-long breakout of acne, tired-looking skin and scarring from my acne.

So I set out to try and get my skin in some kind of good condition, as I’m about to get married and didn’t want acne on my wedding day.

I bought Ultra A Skin Perfecting Serum because it is formulated with pure retinol supported by provitamin C, and has been scientifically proven to improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation, skin texture and clarity.

Living in such a harsh climate as the Territory, our skin can fall victim to sun damage, even if you use sun protection.

I always used SPF50, but still had signs of sun damage.

I am happy to report I have been using Ultra A Skin Perfecting Serum since December last year, and my skin has improved 100 per cent.

In the first month alone my acne was under control thanks to the exfoliating retinoids that help remove dead skin cells that can block pores and lead to acne.

Four months in I noticed my skin was a lot plumper and had a healthy glow — thanks to ingredients such as retinol A, which helps increase collagen, promote faster skin cell turnover and boost hyaluronic acid — the building blocks for plump skin.

Ultra A is an opaque, beige colour, creamy but lightweight.

I always apply it at night, to give my skin plenty of time to absorb the serum.

Six months after first starting to use Ultra A my pores are noticeably smaller, my skin is a lot smoother and the fine lines around my eyes are less prominent.

If you are looking for an anti-ageing cream to improve the clarity and texture of your skin, this could be it.

I get mine from Chaba Beauty on Knuckey Street. If you need advice, pop in to see Joy and Nancy. They’ve really helped me prepare my skin so I will look my best on my wedding day, and I’m so happy.
