Savige has Har in box seat tonight

-

HAR won well for 2017 leading trainer Russell Savige last week, and he looks the one to beat again over 537m in the $1800 Sky Channel Sprint race-seven feature at Winnellie Park tonight.

Savige, with 30 wins so far this year, will also have Sylvia’s Monaro in the mix, while Arabian Khaleese for Carol Pickard may take running down.

In the race-one maiden, Brian Kelleher has a strong say with Mystic Style and Sublime Chance engaged.

There was a lot to like about Cosmic Rise’s run for Hans Spykers last week, and a repeat performance has him in the firing line in race two.

It will be a wide open affair in race three, and the lightlyraced Sublime Countess for Chris Blackman gets an opportunity to find herself in the winners’ circle.

Savige will be kept busy in race four with four of his runners engaged, and he would be hoping for strong performances from brothers Secret Gold and Gold Act.

Klondike Kate (Joel Vansleve) is ideally suited in box one, while watch Never Fear for Carol Pickard.

Reno Aden turned around his form for trainer Jamie Hosking, and he should take running down in race five.

The Clarke Constructions Best All Rounder series starts in race six, and there was a lot to like about Macaloney’s win last week for Graeme Ferns.

Top-liner Arnhen Villain will finish powerfully for second-placed trainer Jamie Hosking.

It is a quality line-up in race eight, with some top-line sprinters including the Peter Donnolley-trained Gossip Park.

Pontypiari, for Graeme Ferns from box eight, will be suited in race nine.

The enigmatic Booberry for Vansleve has the ability to give race 10 a real shake and Hawk Glide (Ferns) will take beating from box one in race 11.
