Variety bashes to town

-

TERRITORY kids have benefited from thousands of dollars worth of grants as the Variety B2B Bash headed through the NT.

Yesterday the students of Jabiru Area School met the bashers as they had breakfast together. Principal Learne Dunne said the meet and greet had brought opportunities Jabiru kids hadn’t had before.

“The Variety Bash will grant all our kids some new reading resources and sporting equipment, including book packs the kids can take home and some new soccer and basketball goals and climbing equipment,” she said.

Greg Lewis is taking part in the Bash for the fourth time.

The B2B Bash has travelled from Sydney and will finish in Darwin today. It has granted more than $80,000 worth of supplies and equipment to remote schools along the way.
