Four men stabbed in fight
A MAN remains under police guard in hospital after two people were stabbed in the neck during a fight outside a pub in Sydney.
Police say a knife was pulled out during an altercation between two men and three security guards outside a licensed premises in Smithfield about 10.15pm on Friday.
Two men in their 40s were treated at the scene for wounds to their necks while a third man, aged 45, was taken to Westmead Hospital after his head was stabbed.
A fourth man had minor injuries to his hand which were also sustained during the incident. A 44-year-old man has been arrested but has not been charged.
He also remains under police guard at the hospital in Sydney’s western suburbs.
