THE GIFT OF LOOKING GOOD

Step outside this Christmas party season with an intensified glam make-up look

- EMMA CRILLY BEAUTY

Here are some ideas to get you into the holiday spirit. This month is the start of Christmas parties and that means getting out your sparkly dress and adding some glam to your make-up look. The Classic Glam: Pop a matte red lip, avoid high gloss lipstick you don’t want it smudging after a few vinos and pair it with a black winged liner.

This look is timeless and looks amazing with a little black dress. My favourite Red Lipstick Russian Red from MAC Cosmetics has a tone that is universally flattering for cool and warm skin. Gel liner usually comes tones. It Retails at $36 and is available online.

When creating a winged eyeliner, I find the easiest product to use is a gel eyeliner this will not smudge packaged in a little pot and is a thicker, creamier consistency. You need a small brush to apply the liner to your lids and create your winged line. I use Revlon Colour Stay Crème Gel Eye Liner. This features an intense pigmented formula that will stay put for up to 24 hours without smudging. Shimmering Cooper Lids: To create a Smokey Cooper eye using a kohl eye pencil and smudge all over your lid using a blending brush. Apply your pencil to your lower lash line and blend it out to stop any harsh lines. You can press some cooper glitter on top of your pencil to give a high glam look.

This is a quick and easy way to create a Smokey eye in under five minutes.

This look was seen at London Fashion week ‘17. When creating this look I use Mac Kohl pencil in Costa Richie. This pencil can be teamed up with almost any colour and is my go too pencil when creating a Smokey eye.

I would pair a nude tone lipstick with a Smokey eye to give you a more understated look. Honey love lipstick from Mac cosmetics is a beautiful natural toned lipstick that is a matte finish and is long wearing.
