Staffers out themselves

PLENTY of journos around town have reported seeing a pattern emerging on their Facebook feeds on Friday arvos. One in particular noted: “My Facebook feed keeps getting clogged up on Friday afternoons with photos of Labor Government staffers on the piss from about midday. I don’t know that taxpayers would be too happy to be paying them to sink piss.” Their chief-of-staff Alf Leonardi has cracked down on taxpayers paying for staffers’ booze but they need to remember they’re doing it on taxpayers’ time.
