How to make a natural eye makeup remover

Wearing makeup daily can take a toll on your skin. I’ve been making my own eye makeup remover at home to help nourish my skin and lashes.

Using a mix of almond oil, castor oil and vitamin e oil is a nourishing combination.

I purchased all of these from a pharmacy and they are really inexpensive.

Firstly, I pour a small amount of almond oil into a small bowl.

Almond oil is naturally an anti- inflammatory so it reduces puffy bags, decreases dark circles under the eye and nourishes your skin. Then I pour castor oil in with the almond oil. Castor oil has natural antibacterial and antifungal properties and is high in vitamin e, minerals and proteins.

Castor oil helps stimulate hair growth and moisturises your skin.

Lastly, pour a small amount of vitamin e oil — this helps prevent wrinkles and calms your skin. Once you’ve poured your three oils into your bowl, take a cotton bud to mix them together. Using a cotton pad I gently sweep the oils over my eyes to remove any makeup.

You can also massage it around your eye in circle motion to help boost collagen.

To remove any oil just take a damp warm cotton cloth and gently apply over your eye.
