Hosking set for another big night

-

THE CUB February Classic F Division 1 feature race five (537m) at the Winnellie Park greyhounds should be a quality contest tonight, with a number of handy performers over this distance.

Leading trainer Jamie Hosking has a couple of big chances in Phantom Henry and Real Stylist.

Dust and Sand ( Graeme Ferns) also deserves respect, as does Meale’s Chance (Andrew Lasker), with both running consistently recently.

Ferns can start the night off well with leading contenders Elfern and Gotta Grin in race one.

The Brian Kelleher-trained Big Stink returns after an un- successful Brisbane campaign, but he should find race two (383m) to his liking and is the one to beat.

Chris Blackman has Distant Shores firing — he should be suited in box one and is a major player in race three.

Zamlee Magic (Hosking) from box eight appears to be the top pick in race four.

The smart Arnhem Mayhem (Hosking) should be better suited with the wider No. 7 box and can get back in the winner’s circle over 312m in race six.

Firebomb (Russell Savige) has been around for a while and is a consistent greyhound who should be suited in race seven.

Lasker’s Unpossible — although back in distance (312m tonight) — is a smart young greyhound and should be hard to beat in race eight.

And Swansee (Ferns) if on her best behaviour would be hard to toss in race nine.

Full of Charm for Brad Yates is also going well.
