GET THAT SMOKY STYLE Simple tricks, tips and brands to get that smoking hot lash look

-

ASMOKY eye is timeless and sultry. In the Territory it is the most requested make-up look from my clients when I teach lessons. Many women struggle to achieve a smoky eye when doing it at home. You can create a smoky eye for a big event and it can be achieved using any colour.

I only use two products when doing a soft smoky eye. This look will take you from daytime to night-time look in less than five minutes.

All you need is a soft eye kohl pencil that is easy to blend. My favourites are from MAC Cosmetics: Costa Rica eye pencil (warm red brown stunning on green eyes) Teddy eye pencil (gold brown shade perfect for all eye colours) How to create the smoky look 1 Firstly, take your brown eye pencil to the inner eye rim both top and bottom. A good tip is to hold your mirror up when applying to lower lash line and downwards when applying to your top lash line.

2 Use a round eyeshadow brush preferably a #237 MAC brush. Blend your eyeliner to get a smoky effect.

Now draw a thick line across your lid. This does not have to be a perfect application — use a blending brush and blend in circular motions.

You can use your bronzer as a transition colour to blend softly into your crease.

A great tip I got working backstage was to apply a light colour to the inner corner of your eye. To open your eyes.

Lastly, apply a lashing of mascara. My favourite mascara to use is Max Factor.

Use your mascara brush at the roots of your lashes, pulling your brush side to side, to get volume and pull your brush through your lashes.
