Jetmag Ink ready to make mark

-

IT was a typical bullish win from Simon Nathanael’s Jetmag Ink in the $1075 Coolalinga Mowers Dash (312m) last Sunday night.

And the three-year-old is a good chance of replicating that almost one-length win in the $1075 NT Government Dash race four at Winnellie Park tonight.

Jetmag Ink’s victory broke a mini winning drought that lasted five starts and went back to January 14.

“He’s a fairly erratic dog. He does what he does when he wants to,” Nathanael said.

“He’s been a touch out of form, but he chases and he’s a pretty big dog so contact doesn’t bother him.

“He jumped last and buffet- ed his way through the field.”

Elite Falcon (Leta Smith) has drawn nicely in box eight and should go well, while Woody One (Vanessa Ferns) and Secret Gold (Russell Savige) both have undeniable chances.

Andrew Lasker has Unpossible flying with five-straight wins and is the clear top pick in the $1750 Nightcliff Sports And Social Club (537m) race five. But he has a new addition in Willing who also brings nice credentials.

Steel Bolton has done a great job turning around the fortunes of Crocodile Crush and he appears ideally boxed in race one at 6.41pm.

Alotta Style (Savige) showed good improvement last start and a repeat performance will make her the one to beat in race two.

Savige has a strong say in race three with Hurricane Hayley, Love You Later and Neve Arena engaged.

Young trainer Harry Brown appears to have a great chance in race six with Poker Boom.

Emerley Fairy even from the awkward box four should go well for trainer Graeme Ferns in the masters race seven.

Brad Yates has two great chances in race eight, with inform runners Eight Roses and Smashniak Bullet engaged. Kennelmates Island Girl and Hurricane Chloe (Russell Savige) have natural early speed so the inside box draws can assist their chances in race nine.
