ON A CHOPPER PILOT CHARGED WITH FLYING TOO LOW OVER THE FINKE DESERT RACE

Load of BS. Who gets to make the call on what’s dangerous and what isn’t? The guy obviously knows what he is doing and to say but what if...... what if the steering wheel falls of a city bus at 80km/h? No one died, no one was hurt (apart from some snowflake’s sensibility). I hope he wears his charge as a medal of honour. Russell Henry

Hardly dangerous, bunch of pussies complaining over nothing. David Barker

ON FRACKING OPENING UP 4000 JOBS IN THE NT

The short-term gain will do nothing to ensure the underground water table is not polluted with contaminating garbage, as happens everywhere CSG puts down its roots. But the underground water around Katherine is already in ruin from the firefighting foam run-off at Tindal Air Base. Locals are already not able to drink the underground water there, so I guess they will now just bend over and go with the flow. Dennis Wells

Not into grab the loot fast decisions ... its selling the foundations out from under your feet more often than not. Mark Epworth

4000 jobs — guaranteed? Broken down by locals, traineeships, apprenticeships, FIFO and 457 Visas please. Stephen McGreevy About time get on with it Gunner. Nathan James Not good. Glad I got to see NT’s waterways and wilderness 26 years ago. Pristine! Beautiful! Ann Renate

Finally the NT can take its rightful place in world economic growth again. Carolyn Reynolds

From death’s door surgery eight hours ago to learning to walk again, wow he’s superman! Rose Spartano

Well done. He has lived this long and doing well. It’s a privilege. People don’t realise you either get old or you’re dead and there are people dying daily to get a place in the cemetery. Maggie Magee

Of course he is. Best doctors only look after them. Bet pound to a penny of shit he didn’t get it done on NHS. Janice Collings
