Passionate bunch to shine light on tropics

-

MOTHER and wife Jerusha Harper-Ceylani has been living in Darwin since 2015 and has loved every minute of it.

With her husband and son Bertie, 2, she has created an amazing life in the Territory and cannot wait to share her Darwin experiences through the Bruce Munro: Tropical Light Ambassador Program.

Ms Harper-Ceylani is one of the first three ambassadors announced as part of the program, who will create content that captures the Tropical Light experience and share it through social media, using the hashtag #tropicfun.

Ambassadors and their content will be promoted through the exhibition’s website, and Instagram and Facebook accounts, providing a local voice for local experiences.

Arts enthusiast ambassador Cat Hart is married with three young children. She has lived in Darwin for more than 10 years and is an actor, dancer and drama teacher who looks forward to showcasing the Darwin arts scene.

Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander ambassador Nicole Brown is a proud Larrakia woman who has lived in Darwin all her life.

She loves the Territory’s melting pot of different cultures and cannot wait to convince others that Darwin is the best city in Australia.

Three more ambassadors are being sought to represent people over 45, those with English as a second language and people living with a disability.
