Total fire ban stays in place

A TOTAL fire ban is in place for the Darwin and Adelaide River areas for the second day in a row.

The ban includes the Litchfield and Coomalie shires and will be valid until midnight tonight.

“No person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in the portion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas,” the ban states.
