Twitter user Tanufuku has got plenty creative with his Microsoft HoloLens and figured out a way to use the AR headset to greatly reduce on-screen clutter when playing Final Fantasy XIV on his laptop. By artificially projecting the MMORPG’s complex network of menus and maps onto a pseudo-wall surrounding his screen, Tanufuku has saved all his precious screen real estate for the actual 3D action, cleverly relegating non graphics-intensive visuals to augmented reality instead. Neat.
