Failed Crowdfunder of the Month SOMETIMES, A GOOD CROWDFUNDING IDEA CAN BE UNDONE BY POOR EXECUTION.

If you’ve been unfortunate enough to have been in an accident or required medical attention, you’ll understand just how important knowledge of your medical history can be. Ideally, there should be a way for a patient’s critical medical details to become available to a paramedic in a life or death situation, but if the patient themselves is unconscious, there’s no way for the attendant to know what medications could be harmful to them, or what may have happened to the patient (such as a reaction to something or a pre-existing condition). BioToo is attempting to solve this problem by getting people to apply a temporary tattoo onto themselves every five days or so. The tattoo will display a special code that, when texted to a certain number, would trigger a reply with that patient’s critical information (entered by the patient themselves prior to their accident), such as emergency contact details, name, allergies or medication details. However, it seems the community isn’t keen on having to stick a tattoo on themselves at least once a week, despite how useful this oculd be. Perhaps a bracelet would be a better option, like what diabetes sufferers already have.
