Get started with Windows 10’s Photos app

A GREAT WAY TO ORGANISE YOUR PHOTOS INTO ALBUMS, AND SHARE THEM WITH YOUR FRIENDS

ORGANISING A LOT of photos can be a time-consuming task, especially if you’ve just come back from a holiday and want to sort your memories into easily viewed albums. Some might say you need a third-party application — such as Photoshop Elements, with its handy Organiser module — to achieve photographic tidiness, but Windows 10 comes with a built-in Photos app that can achieve organisational nirvana for you.

Once you’ve learned how to sort, enhance and share your images this way, you’ll never go back to just stuffing your files in folders on your PC, or having your Pictures folder overflowing with unsorted images. You’ll be able to go straight to the images you want, when you need them. In fact, the only drawback could be that you shoot so many more pictures that you’ll then need to invest in a new storage drive to hold them all!
