After successfully suing Facebook for $500 million in damages, gaming company ZeniMax is now going after Samsung’s Gear VR headset which is “powered by Oculus”. The lawsuit claims that the South Korean manufacturer knowingly profited from the technology misappropriated by Oculus executive John Carmack, and also accuses Samsung of copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation, unfair competition and unjust enrichment.
